Rosemount Turf is a family-owned turf farm supplying quality turf to homeowners, landscapers and commercial projects across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
We’re looking for an experienced, reliable truck driver to join our team on a casual basis. During peak periods, you’ll be required to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with early starts and finishes, and no weekend deliveries.
You’ll deliver pallets of turf to customers and job sites using our Fuso flatbed truck and Scania semi with short or long trailer combinations. Our deliveries are primarily local, so you’ll generally be home at the end of the day, with deliveries wrapping up by approximately 4pm.
The role
Delivering turf to residential, commercial and landscaping sites.
Operating our Fuso flatbed truck and Scania semi with short or long trailers, as required.
Safely operating a truck-mounted forklift to unload turf at delivery locations.
Securing loads and completing vehicle safety checks.
Working with our farm and dispatch team to coordinate deliveries.
Providing friendly,
qualified service to our customers.
What you’ll need
Current heavy vehicle licence appropriate for the vehicles and trailer combinations being driven.
Current forklift licence (LF) – essential.
Proven truck driving experience.
Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift is highly regarded.
A robust focus on safety, load security and vehicle care.
Reliability, punctuality and a positive, can-do attitude.
Positive communication and customer service skills.
