We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting practice in Chatswood, Sydney.
This position offers an prospect to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting, taxation and business advisory services while working with a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare individual, company, trust and partnership income tax returns.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and assist with GST compliance.
Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and payroll processing.
Assist with taxation and accounting compliance matters.
Liaise with clients and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).




Support senior accountants with various accounting and business advisory assignments.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Sound understanding of Australian accounting and taxation principles.
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar systems will be advantageous.
