Plan and coordinate purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Monitor the quality, freshness, storage and display of fruits and vegetables to minimise spoilage and product wastage.
Recruit, train, supervise and manage retail staff, including preparing work schedules and monitoring employee performance.
Develop and implement sales strategies, pricing policies and promotional activities to maximise revenue and improve business performance.
Monitor sales figures, operating expenses, stock turnover and profit margins to achieve financial and operational objectives.
Maintain inventory records, organise stock replenishment and implement effective stock control procedures.
Ensure high standards of customer service, respond to enquiries and resolve customer complaints professionally.




Ensure the store complies with applicable workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards and relevant business regulations.
Coordinate the receipt, inspection and storage of incoming produce and maintain appropriate stock rotation procedures.
Prepare and review sales reports, purchasing records, inventory statements and operational reports to support management decisions.
Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the retail premises to provide a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
Skills and Qualifications Relevant qualifications in retail management, business management or a related field will be advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
Strong leadership, staff supervision and team coordination skills.
Knowledge of retail operations, purchasing, inventory management and supplier coordination.
Understanding of fresh produce handling, stock rotation, quality control and waste reduction.
