Essential : Current Occupational Therapist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Experience completing occupational therapy assessments and providing practical support to individuals and families.
A genuine interest in helping older people live safely and independently in their community.
Confidence providing support that improves independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Strong communication, planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Ability to build positive working relationships with consumers, families, colleagues and external partners.
Positive IT skills and confidence using databases and digital systems.
Current driver's licence.
Desirable: Membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
Knowledge of Support at Home and other community aged care services.
Experience with brokerage service models and Consumer Directed Care.
