RM - Grafton Base Hospital - Women's Care Unit
Grafton Base Hospital in New South Wales is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Women's Care Unit on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity running from now until 22 November ****, offering around six weeks of work in a busy, supportive maternity environment. Work in a dedicated Women's Care Unit at a regional base hospital
Contract role, approximately six weeks, starting as soon as possible
Opportunity to contribute to quality maternity care in a collaborative team setting
Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA




Demonstrated experience in midwifery practice, particularly in intrapartum or postnatal care
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a women's health context
Ability to work flexibly within a rotating roster environment
Skilled approach to documentation and compliance with hospital protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
Current CPR and emergency response certification
Previous experience in a hospital-based maternity unit or similar acute care setting
