Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret plans, drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements, measurements and materials.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber, plywood and other construction materials using appropriate hand and power tools.
Construct, install and repair timber structures, frameworks, fixtures and fittings.
Carry out framing, roofing and finishing works in accordance with project specifications.
Install doors, windows, flooring,



partitions and other carpentry components as required.
Select suitable materials and ensure accurate measurements and cutting to achieve the required specifications.
Inspect completed carpentry work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with building requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete construction tasks efficiently and within project schedules.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow relevant building codes, workplace health and safety requirements and site procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite throughout each project.
What We're Looking For
Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent relevant qualification.
Minimum one year of relevant experience working as a Carpenter.
Valid construction industry White Card.
Sound knowledge of carpentry techniques, timber materials, construction methods and tools.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Good communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to workplace health and safety requirements.
Salary and Employment Conditions
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 per annum plus superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week. BATZ****
