Rural View Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Pharmacy Assistant
to join our team on a
full-time basis
in Rural View, QLD ****. This is a key position within our community pharmacy, where you will play an essential role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering exceptional patient care. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be at the heart of our operations, helping to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of services and support. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our local community whilst developing your career in the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities
Processing sales, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Receiving and checking deliveries of supplies and medicines
Providing courteous and professional customer service to patients and customers
Answering customer enquiries and directing patients to the pharmacist when appropriate
Cleaning and maintaining the presentation of the store, equipment and displays
Assisting with the organisation, display and rotation of stock
Supporting the pharmacist with administrative tasks and documentation
Adhering to all relevant pharmacy legislation, regulations and professional standards
Assisting pharmacists with the dispensing of medications, for the right fit applicant
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling medications and prescriptions
Excellent organisational and time management skills




The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Professional communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient careReliability and a responsible approach to health and safety protocols
Proficiency with computer systems and pharmacy software is desirable
A friendly, approachable demeanour and genuine interest in helping others
