Job Description
We're currently looking for an extremely proficient, Lead Java Developer to join our financial services client in Sydney on a 6 month, rolling contract to help them build their cloud-native platform.

The role will encompass both hands-on engineering & leadership; you will lead technical delivery from initial system design through to development and production, while mentoring more junior devs and enhancing the team's overall capability and productivity.

Responsibilities:

Strong Core Java skills
n
Experience developing high-performing APIs in Java/Spring Boot within scaled, cloud environments.
n
Robust hands-on experience on Spring/Spring Boot
n
Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
n
Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS)
n
Extensive experience with version control tools like Git,



Bitbucket, CI/CD, code review
n
Experience with Infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform is essential - greenfield environment
n
