Knapton Engineering Services (KES) is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our expanding team, supporting mining maintenance, shutdowns and projects across Queensland's Bowen Basin.
We're looking for reliable, safety-focused tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship and want to establish a long-term working relationship with a company that's continuing to grow.
WHY WORK WITH KES?
$72/hr starting rateduring your initial 3-month probationary period.
$76/hr flat ratefollowing successful completion of probation.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of the KES team, you'll have opportunities to undertake a range of mining maintenance, shutdown and project work, including:
Dragline maintenance, repairs and shutdowns
CHPP maintenance and shutdowns
Heavy mobile equipment and structural repairs
Fabrication, welding and general maintenance
Planned maintenance and breakdown support
Mining and industrial project works
Positions are casual, with ongoing opportunities across multiple operations for suitable candidates.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential Requirements:
Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
Standard 11
Current Coal Board Medical
Current driver's licence
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Reliable attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
Highly Regarded:
Working at Heights
Confined Space Entry
Gas Test Atmospheres
GCAA welding qualifications
Previous mining maintenance and shutdown experience
Existing Bowen Basin mine site inductions
