Experienced Mechanic
to join our team in Morayfield, QLD. This is a
full-time position
offering the opportunity to work with a reputable automotive business, delivering high-quality mechanical services to our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, utilising your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups
Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and braking systems
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements, timelines, and costs
Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good working condition
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a qualified mechanic with a strong track record in automotive repairs and maintenance
Valid automotive trade qualifications or relevant certification demonstrating competency in mechanical work
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and workshop machinery
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems,



and suspension
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the workplace
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
