As a foundation teacher at Leichhardt Special School, you will play an important role in establishing a positive, collaborative and high-performing school culture.
Successful applicants will work collaboratively with the leadership team, colleagues, families and other professionals to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs that respond to the individual strengths, needs and aspirations of students.
Teachers will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of whole-school approaches, curriculum and pedagogical practices, positive behaviour supports, team-oriented planning processes and the traditions and identity of our new school.

Strong skills in supporting student engagement, wellbeing, communication and positive behaviour.
A collaborative approach to working with families, teachers, teacher aides, therapists and other professionals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to contribute positively to a supportive team culture.
