Tec-NQ requires a Receptionist to be the first point of contact with our customers.
The position is to be based in Townsville on a full time basis.
The hours of work for this position are 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
Answering telephones in our busy office
Attend to enquiries from staff, students and parents
Manage the student absentee database and advise appropriate personnel
Facilitate communication within the school
Maintain visitor sign in process
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Maintain records
About you
Proven front desk reception and administrative experience
Proven high level phone techniques to manage incoming calls on a busy switchboard
Proficient in using Microsoft Office
High Level Customer Service Skills
Demonstrated experience operating a database
Well developed verbal and written communication skills
The possession of, or an ability to gain a Queensland 'Blue Card' to work with children or the eligibility to obtain
Ability to use a Merchant Machine (desirable)
Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence (desirable)
