About the role
Working closely with our manufacturing and delivery teams, you will be responsible for the day-to-day movement, control and organisation of stock and materials throughout our warehouse and factory.
Key responsibilities
Receiving and checking incoming stock and materials
Maintaining accurate stock levels and records
Picking and preparing materials for production
Loading and unloading deliveries and trucks
Moving and storing stock safely and efficiently
Preparing finished products and materials for dispatch
Assisting with regular stocktakes and inventory checks
Identifying stock discrepancies, damage or shortages
Keeping warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe
Operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
About you
Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
Well organised with good attention to detail
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Safety conscious and committed to doing things correctly
Comfortable working in a quick-paced manufacturing environment
A good communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, building industry or stock control experience will be highly regarded
A current forklift licence is desirable, although training may be available for the right person
Permanent full-time position
Monday to Friday – no weekend work
