As Centre Director, you will lead our team and oversee the day‐to‐day operation of the service.
This role is suited to a confident leader who can bring out the best in a diverse team, manage different personalities professionally and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
Provide clear, supportive leadership to educators and staff
Manage team dynamics and individual personalities with fairness, confidence and professionalism
Prepare and maintain effective staff rosters in line with ratios, qualifications, occupancy and operational needs
Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Lead continuous improvement and support the centre's Quality Improvement Plan
Maintain high standards across education, care, safety and service operations
Support staff performance, development and accountability
Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community
Work collaboratively with the centre owners to achieve service goals
About you
Previous experience leading a team within an early childhood education and care service
Strong leadership, communication and conflict‒resolution skills
The ability to manage staffing matters and varied personalities constructively




Sound rostering skills and an understanding of educator‐to‐child ratios
A robust working knowledge of the National Law, National Regulations and National Quality Standard
The ability to remain organised, approachable and solutions‒focused in a busy environment
A commitment to creating a respectful and positive workplace culture
Relevant early childhood qualifications and current checks required for the position
