An exciting part-time opportunity for a Medical Receptionist position has become available in our busy medium-sized General Practice in Wodonga.
We are seeking a positive and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our wonderful team.
We are a private/mixed billing clinic and pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service to all our patients to ensure a smooth and functioning practice and day to day operations
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to Senior Management.
Reception and general administration duties
Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and qualified manner
Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling telephone inquiries
Providing support to all GPs, allied health professionals, staff & visitors in a courteous and efficient manner




Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
Issue patients' invoices/receipts and attend to account queries
End of day banking reconciliation
Handling confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
About You:
A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Competency in use of computers, Best Practice Software knowledge is desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Capability of working independently and in a team and contribute to a positive work culture and ensuring patient care is top priority
