We are seeking a motivated Junior Agronomist to lead and support our business operations in Australia based in Narromine NSW.
This is a diverse and rewarding role that combines crop activities with some data collation.
You will work closely with both local and regional stakeholders to ensure the efficient achievement of our vegetable seed growing quality and objectives.
This role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
Lead, develop, motivate and coach assigned team members, or provide functional guidance, advice and support to less experienced Agronomists
Cultivate assigned crop(s) across the site including climate control, crop protections, fertilisation, and irrigation
Document incidents and procedures related to crop management
Ensure all tasks within crop trials are executed in alignment with crop and financial/budget objectives
Use technical knowledge and experience to partner with Breeders/Researchers and agree on the most effective conditions
Define and evaluate crop objectives together with Breeders and Researchers
Ensure a healthy and safe working environment
Participate in and contribute to International Growing teams
Order and/or manage stock as required
Ensure digital tools effectively support crop cultivation in terms of quality and productivity
About you




Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Expert knowledge of and experience in crop cultivation and plant physiology
Proficiency with climate computer
Strong communication, analytical and collaborative skills
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using data and reporting tools and equipment
