Role Description/Criteria
Applications are invited from suitably qualified (or undertaking training) Learning Support Officers with varying levels of experience for the following position to commence duties onWednesday, 27th January, ****
This is a 12-month four day per week LSO position. The tenure of the position also has the potential to become ongoing beyond ****.

Applicants will be expected to:

Be highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic
Display effective communication and organisational skills with the ability to be proactive and resourceful.




Work supportively with students and teachers in achieving the goals outlined in Personalised Learning Plans
Provide support to teachers and assist students with their learning
Record information regarding the progress of student learning
Plan learning activities for students who require additional support in partnership with classroom teachers
Maintain records of observations and adjustments
Maintain confidentiality regarding the details of a student's special needs and program
Have a suitable certificate in Education Support training or be currently training toward achieving an Education Support certificate
