The John Innes Centre invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher role in collaboration with the Hutchings lab to work on activating silent and cryptic biosynthetic pathways in Streptomyces species.
You will isolate and characterize new specialised metabolites, link them to BGCs, and delineate biosynthesis while assessing bioactivity in various assays.
A PhD in Natural Products Chemistry and solid publication record are highly desirable; visa support is offered where needed.
