If you're a Contract Administrator who's built a solid foundation in the mid-tier market and is ready to get involved in something bigger, this is worth considering. We're recruiting a CA for a $200M high-end Build-to-Rent development in North Sydney, with construction due to commence shortly.
You'll work alongside an experienced Senior CA, taking ownership of your own subcontractor packages while gaining exposure to the broader commercial management of a major Class 2 development.
The Role
- Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final accounts.
- Oversee variations, progress claims, cost reporting and subcontractor negotiations.
- Work closely with the Senior CA on contractual matters, forecasting and commercial risk.
- Build relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in CAs who have gained positive experience with reputable builders and are looking to broaden their project exposure.
You'll need sound contractual knowledge, confidence managing your own packages and a good understanding of head contractor processes. Experience across residential, commercial or mixed-use projects will be considered, with Class 2 experience highly regarded.
More importantly, we're looking for someone commercially switched on,
who takes ownership of their work and wants to keep developing.
Why Consider This Builder?
The business is an established, privately owned construction group with over 30 years in the industry and more than 1,000 employees across NSW and Victoria.
They have a strong track record delivering large-scale, complex developments and a different approach to construction, with significant in-house capabilities across structures, façades and manufacturing.
A few reasons this role stands out:
- A $200M project just kicking off, giving you exposure to the full construction lifecycle.
- A strong commercial team, with an experienced Senior CA to learn from while maintaining ownership of your own work.
- A step up in project scale, without needing to have delivered a $200M project previously.
- An established, well-resourced builder with the systems and technical capabilities to deliver major developments.
- Salary of $150K–$200K, depending on experience.
If you've been working on smaller projects and are ready to broaden your experience with a capable builder, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation.
