The role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join a leading resources-focused organisation supporting operational and project teams in the procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase and expedite materials, equipment, parts and services
- Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
- Manage RFQ processes and supplier communications
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and cost allocation
- Support inventory, logistics and purchasing activities
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

About You

- Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing, procurement or buying
- Previous experience within mining, resources, engineering or heavy industry preferred
- Solid understanding of procurement, inventory and supply chain processes
- Experience using SAP (ideally SAP MM)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment




- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Understanding of commercial terms, supplier management and purchasing best practices
