The job
As part of the Underground Paste Crew, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, operation and maintenance of underground paste reticulation systems. Day to day, you will:

- Install underground paste reticulation, pipe supports, couplings, elbows and more
- Install UG dump valves, diverter valves, pressure sensors and instrumentation
- Construct paste walls and bunds
- Coordinate works with surface plant and mining operation teams
- Support supervisors to plan and deliver paste infrastructure projects efficiently and within scope
- Record and report daily activities,



paste line performance and maintenance requirements
- Follow strict safety standards, including hazard identification, risk management and the right PPE
- Work with other crews (services, projects and production) to fit paste installation around mining schedules

What you need

- Minimum 12 months underground experience in paste and projects (essential)
- Confident use of hand tools, power tools and underground plant for paste reticulation
- Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and fix basic system faults
- A strong focus on safety and hazard awareness
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and confined spaces
- Great communication skills and a team-first approach
- Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and schedules
- IT and UG LV tickets
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
