GP Opportunity – Affluent Upper North Shore, Sydney

An exciting opportunity is available for a GP to join a well-established, privately owned practice in an affluent, leafy suburb on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

The practice has been serving the local community for over 40 years and has built a solid clinical reputation, with an established patient base of more than 3,000 patients and a focus on long-term patient relationships.

Skin Cancer and Procedural Opportunities

The practice has an established skin cancer service, currently running with a GP with advanced procedural skills, including flaps and grafts. He currently consults on Tuesdays and Thursdays, creating an opportunity for another doctor to expand the service across additional days, with sessions structured to complement the existing offering rather than compete for the same patient base.

There is also scope to develop the cosmetic side of the business, should this be of interest, with the opportunity to build your own regular patient list over time.

Billing and Remuneration

- Mixed-billing practice, with bulk billing generally limited to children under 10.

- Standard consultation fee: $115.

- Remuneration: 65% of fees received,



with a 35% service fee payable to the practice.

- Guaranteed earnings of $200 per hour for the first three months, after the service fee, providing an opportunity to establish your patient base.

Practice Support and Environment

The practice is relocating to new premises, offering a calm, modern clinical environment. GPs are supported by nursing staff, preventive care coordination and administrative support.

The practice remains independently owned and locally operated, with experienced clinical leadership, a Quality and Risk Manager and regular monthly doctors’ meetings.

Flexible Working Arrangements

- Full-time or part-time opportunities available.

- Weekday sessions between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

- No weekend work required, although regular weekend sessions can be discussed if preferred.
