Dans Plants is a well-established and thriving wholesale nursery located in Heatherton, Victoria. We grow and supply a wide variety of plants and decorative pots to our customers, and are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team in a general nursery labouring and dispatch role.

This is a casual position to start, initially offering approximately 3 days per week, with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, physical role supporting the day-to-day running of our busy nursery. Duties will vary depending on operational needs and may include:

· Setting up trolleys and racks for daily dispatch operations.

· Loading plants onto trolleys and racks, ensuring stock is handled carefully and securely.

· Assisting dispatch teams with preparing orders and getting plants ready for delivery.

· Moving pots, plants and stock around the nursery as required.

· Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work area.

· Following workplace health and safety procedures when handling plants, pots and equipment.

· Assisting with other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the nursery.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

· Have previous experience working in a nursery or horticulture environment – this is highly regarded,



as you will understand the physical nature and pace of the work

· Be physically fit and comfortable with active, hands-on work throughout the day

· Be reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude

· Be able to follow instructions and work well both independently and as part of a team

· Have good attention to detail and take pride in doing a job properly

· Be adaptable and willing to help with a variety of tasks as required

· Have reliable transport to Heatherton, as public transport in the area is limited
