We're partnering with a well-known Australian franchise brand to recruit a Franchise Account Manager to join their head office in Brisbane.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting, financial reporting and stakeholder management in a relationship-focused role.

Whether you're currently working in a commercial accounting position managing multiple entities or come from a Tax & Business Services background in public practice, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of an established portfolio, lead a small team and build strong relationships with business owners.

The Team & Workplace:

You'll join a well-established finance team, working alongside other Franchise Account Managers and reporting directly to an experienced, on-site Team Leader.

The team is supported by offshore Assistant Accountants who handle much of the day-to-day accounting preparation, allowing you to focus on reviewing financial information, overseeing reporting, and building strong relationships with franchise owners.

You'll also benefit from being part of a much larger finance function, with opportunities to explore different areas of accounting and finance as your career develops.

About the Role:

- Manage the financial reporting and accounting requirements for franchises located across NSW, representing around 45 franchise owners.




- Act as the primary finance contact for your portfolio, building strong relationships and providing ongoing financial support.
- Review and present monthly and annual financial results to franchise owners.
- Analyse financial information and assist business owners in understanding their financial performance.
- Oversee, support, and review the work of 3 offshore Assistant Accountants.
- Coordinate the collection of financial information and ensure accurate, timely reporting across multiple entities.
- Provide guidance on accounting systems, financial processes, and reporting requirements.
- Travel approximately every 6 months to meet with franchise owners face-to-face.

The portfolio consists predominantly of long-standing franchise owners who are already familiar with the finance team's processes and support. As such, the role is focused on maintaining established relationships rather than onboarding or educating new franchise owners.

About You:

- Experience in either commercial accounting or Tax & Business Services within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
- Experience managing the financial reporting requirements of multiple entities, businesses, or clients.
- Ideally CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including financial statements, month-end reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience reviewing the work of junior accountants or mentoring team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage directly with business owners and key stakeholders.
- A proactive, personable approach with excellent organisational and relationship management skills.
