Lead Tailings & Water Management at Ravenswood Gold

Ravenswood Gold is seeking an experienced RTFE Superintendent (Responsible Tailings Facility Engineer) to provide leadership of our Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), water infrastructure and site water management strategy. Reporting to the Manager Processing, this critical leadership position is accountable for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the TSF while driving water management performance, infrastructure reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across site.

As the appointed RTFE, you will play a key role in maintaining tailings facility integrity, supporting regulatory compliance, leading water-related projects and ensuring alignment with Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Fulfil the duties of the site-appointed Responsible Tailings Facility Engineer (RTFE)
- Lead the safe and compliant operation of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF)
- Monitor dam integrity, embankment performance, freeboard, seepage and stability
- Coordinate inspections, audits, dam safety reviews and risk management activities
- Oversee site water balance management, dewatering systems and water distribution networks
- Manage pumping systems, pipelines, dams and associated water infrastructure
- Lead water modelling, forecasting and reporting processes
- Deliver water-related capital and operational projects safely, on time and within budget
- Maintain compliance with environmental approvals, licences and regulatory obligations
- Drive a robust safety culture and lead incident investigations and corrective actions
- Lead,



mentor and develop operational and contractor teams
- Collaborate with Processing, Mining, Setting and Geotechnical stakeholders to achieve site objectives

About You:

You are a collaborative and technically capable leader with extensive mining operational experience and a strong understanding of tailings and water management systems. You are comfortable balancing operational priorities, risk management and compliance requirements while maintaining a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

To be successful, you will possess:

- Bachelor of Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Extensive mining industry experience, ideally 8+ years in operational leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience managing Tailings Storage Facilities and site water systems
- Strong understanding of GISTM principles and tailings governance frameworks
- Experience in water balance modelling, hydrology and water infrastructure management
- Proven leadership experience in a Superintendent, Senior Supervisor or similar role
- Strong project management, budgeting and risk management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational improvement
