About the Role

Sydney Tools is seeking an organised and proactive Merchandising Coordinator to join our Head Office team. Working closely with the Head of Merchandising, you will play a key role in maintaining consistent merchandising standards across our national store network.

This is a hands-on coordinator role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving and getting things done. You'll work with Store Managers, Area Managers and internal teams to monitor merchandising activities, coordinate projects and ensure outstanding actions are followed through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Merchandising Standards: Monitor store presentation, signage, ticketing and merchandising compliance, ensuring identified issues are addressed.
- Promotional Execution: Coordinate and track in-store promotions, marketing displays and promotional compliance across the network.
- Planograms & Store Layouts: Monitor planogram implementation, store mapping progress and merchandising updates.
- Fixture Management: Coordinate fixture requirements, allocations, replacements and associated recordkeeping.
- Project Coordination: Track store action plans, manage deadlines and follow up outstanding merchandising tasks and improvement initiatives.
- Reporting & Communication: Maintain accurate records,



prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Head of Merchandising.

About You

- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to follow up stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
- An interest in retail operations, merchandising and store presentation.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising, retail operations, project coordination or a similar administrative role will be highly regarded.
