WE'RE HIRING. AND THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER CLEANING JOB.

Looking for steady weekday work that fits around your life and actually means something? Keep reading, and meet the team in the video above.

We’re Star Express Cleaning & Property Maintenance, a Brisbane family business based in Jindalee. Since 2003 we’ve cleaned and cared for private homes across the western suburbs, including aged care clients, NDIS participants, DVA recipients and busy families. For a lot of our clients, your visit is what helps them stay comfortable and independent in their own home. They notice when you arrive, they notice the job you do, and they’ll tell you so.

? What a typical day looks like

- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas in private homes

- Bed making, light laundry and general tidying

- Following clear checklists and each client’s routine

- Working with secure, pH-neutral products we supply

- No experience needed. We train you properly from day one, and you’re never thrown in the deep end.

? What we offer

- $33.85 to $36.91 per hour (plus super)

- Paid travel time between jobs

- $1.01 per km mileage allowance

- A reliable, consistent weekly roster, no nights, no weekends

- School-friendly daytime hours

- Full training, with real support in your first weeks

- Employee Assistance Program access and client referral bonuses

- A team that communicates clearly and treats you with respect

? Who does well here

You don’t need a cleaning background. You need to be the kind of person who shows up when you say you will, treats someone’s home the way you’d want yours treated, and takes quiet pride in leaving a place better than you found it. If that’s you, we’ll teach you the rest.

You’ll need your own reliable car and a valid driver’s licence. Because some of our clients are NDIS participants and aged care residents, successful applicants also complete a Police Check and Yellow Card. Don’t stress about these now, we’ll walk you through both after offer and before your start date.

AND IF YOU WANT A CAREER, NOT JUST A JOB...

There is somewhere to go.

As Star Express grows, we want our people to grow with us. You may start as a cleaner and move into team leadership, training, or operations. We believe in developing our own people first.

THE NON-NEGOTIABLES

You'll need:

- Your own reliable car and valid driver's license

- A Police Check and Yellow Card, or willingness to obtain before starting

- Availability across at least three weekdays

- To be physically comfortable with the demands of cleaning work

- Australian working rights

Experience is welcome but it's not essential. We can train you in how we do things.

What we can't train is reliability, genuine care for the people in those homes, and pride in doing the job properly. You need to bring that yourself.

If our values sound like your values, we'd love to hear from you.

When you apply, tell us a little about yourself and why you think you'd be a great fit at Star Express.
