This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your experience, strengthen your commercial skills and play a key role in delivering competitive electrical solutions for our customers. Working across a diverse range of projects, you’ll be involved from the early stages of project development through to tender submission, collaborating with customers and internal teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.

You’ll gain exposure to a variety of projects, contribute to business growth and work closely with experienced professionals across our Power team, helping turn customer requirements into well-developed estimates and successful project opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

- Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, quotations and tender submissions.
- Working with customers to understand project requirements, scope and expectations.
- Collaborating with engineering, project delivery and other internal teams to develop competitive, achievable solutions.
- Supporting pre-engineering activities, project reviews and tender planning.
- Managing multiple tenders and priorities across a varied project portfolio.
- Reviewing technical and commercial requirements to ensure estimates align with relevant standards, contracts, legislation and budgets.
- Building strong customer relationships and supporting positive tender outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve estimating processes,



tender success and business growth.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and technically capable, with a genuine interest in developing their career and contributing to the success of Ampcontrol’s Power team.

You will ideally have:

- An electrical trade background or an electrical engineering qualification.
- Hands-on experience with HV/LV electrical systems, plant or equipment.
- Experience or exposure to electrical estimating, cost budgets, quotations or tender preparation.
- An understanding of electrical equipment and project requirements within industrial, mining or similar environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a quick-paced environment.
