About the Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced Boilermakers for a structural steel workshop in Southern Adelaide Suburb. The work is heavy fabrication for bridges, tunnels, and major infrastructure projects, run for Tier 1 contractors and government clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Fabricating and welding structural steel (beams, columns, girders, heavy plate)
- Reading and working from fabrication drawings
- Cutting, prepping, fitting and assembling to spec
- Multi-run fillet and full-penetration welds to a high standard
- Keeping your area protected and tidy

What You’ll Need

- Proven experience as a Boilermaker or Structural Steel Fabricator




- Trade qualification (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication)
- Strong MIG / flux-core (FCAW) skills on heavy plate
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Good fit-up skills
- Steel caps and your own PPE
- Reliable transport to get to Tonsley
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Highly Regarded

- Current weld test (AS/NZS 2980 or ISO 9606)
- All-position welding (3G/4G)
- Experience on bridge or major infrastructure work to AS/NZS 1554
- Overhead crane / dogging ticket
