We are seeking reliable, motivated, and professional team members to join our Shopping Centre Operations Team.

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards of a busy retail shopping centre. Successful applicants will assist with cleaning, waste management, presentation maintenance, customer service, and loading dock operations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers, retailers, contractors, and staff.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and are willing to learn current skills and develop within the business.

Full time position: Monday-Friday: 2:00pm-9:36pm

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the shopping centre.
- Clean and maintain common mall areas, food courts, public amenities, parent rooms, staff facilities, and customer-facing areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and detail clean floors and surfaces.
- Collect litter and maintain presentation standards in both internal and external areas.
- Clean lifts, escalators, travelators, handrails, seating, glazing, and high-touch surfaces.
- Service bins, waste streams, recycling stations, organics collection points, and waste compactors where required.
- Assist with loading dock operations, including waste management, housekeeping, cardboard collection, recycling management, and maintaining clear and safe access ways.
- Monitor dock areas for safety hazards, contractor activity, dumped rubbish, abandoned items, and operational issues.
- Conduct external cleaning activities including footpaths, car parks, loading docks,



service roads, entry points, and surrounding precincts.
- Respond to spills, hazards, customer service requests, and presentation concerns.
- Assist with event setups, pack-downs, special projects, and periodical cleaning works.
- Report hazards, defects, maintenance issues, and operational concerns.
- Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), site procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
- Provide professional customer service when interacting with customers, retailers, contractors, and Centre Management.

Skills & Experience

- Previous commercial or retail cleaning experience (preferred).
- Previous shopping centre or facilities services experience (advantageous).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
