Elite Makeovers
Perth, WA
Full Time
$90,000 – $130,000 per year, depending on experience/bonus structure

About Elite Makeovers

Elite Makeovers is a leading Perth renovation company specialising in high-quality kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional renovations through detailed planning, quality workmanship, strong communication and a professional client experience from start to finish.

As our project pipeline continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of our residential renovation sites and become a key construction expert within our team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone with extensive residential construction experience who knows how to keep projects moving, trades coordinated and workmanship at a consistently high standard.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of multiple renovation projects, working closely with our Operations Manager, construction team, trades, subcontractors and suppliers.

You’ll be expected to understand the construction process in detail, identify potential issues before they become problems and confidently make practical decisions on site.

This is not simply a role for someone who can follow a schedule. We’re looking for someone who understands construction, can lead a site and takes genuine ownership of the finished result.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Project Supervision

- Understanding how all aspects of a renovation work together and performing the tile set out and marking up of bathrooms, laundry and kitchens prior to chasing/prelay.

- Check progress of renovations daily, ensure workmanship, ensure compliance of all work, identify potential issues before they happen and problem solve any issues that arise.

- Ensure projects are being completed in accordance with timeline, construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work.

- Keep sites clean, organised, professional and compliant with WHS requirements.

- Ensure materials and required items are organised ahead of time to minimise downtime.

- Complete final quality checks and assist in ensuring projects are ready for client handover.

- Set clear expectations around workmanship, professionalism, safety and site standards.

- Address site issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.

- Conduct toolbox meetings and site briefings where required.

- Help maintain a positive, accountable and solutions-focused site culture.

Communication

Our Operations Manager remains the primary point of contact for clients; however, as Site Supervisor, you will be a professional face of Elite Makeovers while working in our clients’ homes.

You will:

- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients when discussing site-specific matters.

- Provide clear updates to the Operations Manager and wider project team.

- Raise construction concerns, delays or potential variations as early as possible.

- Build strong working relationships with all trades and suppliers.

- Communicate effectively with trades, suppliers, designers and other members of the construction team.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate site notes, progress updates and photo documentation.

- Record construction issues, defects and required follow-up works.

- Identify potential scope changes and variations and ensure they are communicated before additional work proceeds.

- Ensure sites comply with relevant building regulations, codes, WHS requirements and company procedures.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings significant practical construction knowledge and can confidently take ownership of a renovation site.

Ideally, you will have:

- 5+ years of experience within the construction industry, with strong residential construction experience.

- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, Leading Hand, Builder or similar senior site-based role.

- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.

- Renovation experience,

particularly kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, is highly regarded.

- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.

- Strong knowledge of Australian building standards, regulations and WHS requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the confidence to make practical decisions on site.

- High attention to detail and a strong eye for workmanship and finishes.

- Solid organisational and time-management skills.

- The ability to manage multiple active projects and competing priorities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A professional and client-focused approach.

- A current Australian manual driver’s licence.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes ownership. You notice when something isn’t right, deal with problems early and care about delivering a finished project you and the wider team can be proud of.

Why Join Elite Makeovers?

This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a growing, professional renovation company rather than simply moving from one construction site to another.
