About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller Container and Warehousing to join our team at Auslink Logistics Pty Ltd in Truganina, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a critical strategic role in managing and optimising our fleet operations and warehousing activities. As Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our container fleet and warehousing facilities, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and profitability. This position is integral to supporting our business objectives and maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence in the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor and manage fleet utilisation, maintenance schedules, and vehicle servicing to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency

- Oversee container tracking, inventory management, and warehousing operations to ensure accurate and timely logistics delivery

- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and external partners to ensure seamless fleet and facility operations

- Prepare and analyse fleet performance reports, identifying trends and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement





- Ensure all fleet vehicles and warehousing operations comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies

- Manage fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and other operational expenses to optimise the fleet budget

- Liaise with clients regarding fleet status, container availability, and delivery schedules

- Investigate and resolve operational issues, including vehicle breakdowns, container damage, and warehousing discrepancies

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all fleet and warehousing activities, including driver logs and maintenance history

- Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of warehouse and logistics team members as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in fleet management, preferably within the container and warehousing logistics sector

- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, and fleet compliance requirements

- Experience with fleet management software systems and inventory tracking systems

- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and cost control

- Sound understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices in logistics





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis

- A current, clean driver's licence is essential

- Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations are highly valued

- Knowledge of container handling, warehousing operations, and distribution networks would be advantageous
