About the role:

The D365 SCM Specialist owns how well Microsoft Dynamics 365 supports warehouse, inventory and production at our Yennora manufacturing site. This is a hands-on, on-site role: you’ll be the first point of contact for ERP issues on the floor, find the root cause, and fix it within standard D365 wherever possible.

You’ll also bring teams that use D365 lightly today, including QA, Kitchen and Production, further into the system. The successful candidate works problems out without being handed the answer, questions a requirement before building it, and leaves a explicit record of what was changed and why.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational ERP Support

- First point of contact for D365 issues across Logistics, Inventory and Production: triage, fix, or escalate.
- Own warehouse configuration, including locations, location directives, work templates and warehouse processes.
- You may be required to work within the warehouse, logistics & or cold rooms.

Inventory & Production

- Improve inventory accuracy across batch and expiry handling, FEFO picking, cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Support production orders end to end, from picking lists through to posted journals.





ERP Adoption

- Identify spreadsheet and paper-based processes in QA, Kitchen and Production that belong in D365, and move them in.
- Write SOPs and end-user guides and train the people doing the work.

Change Control & Documentation

- Diagnose, test in UAT and document every change before it reaches production.
- Raise, test and accept work from our ERP partner, and challenge fixes that don’t hold up.

Skills & Experience:

- 2+ years’ hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations supply chain modules (warehouse, inventory, production) in a live business, on the customer or partner side.
- Working knowledge of data entities and OData, and able to query data using SQL, Power BI or similar.
- Able to assess a proposed fix and tell a defect from a configuration gap from a customisation.
- A track record of solving problems independently: you find another way round, or escalate early with what you’ve already tried.
- A clear communicator on the floor and in writing, able to explain the system in the terms of the person using it.
- Food manufacturing, FMCG or logistics background. (Desirable)
