We're recruiting for a Branch Supervisor to lead day-to-day of an established heavy equipment branch in Horsham, Victoria.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background and proven leadership experience who enjoys managing people, improving operational performance and building strong customer relationships.

You'll be responsible for overseeing workshop, field service and parts operations, ensuring the branch runs efficiently, safely and profitably.

The role

As Branch Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of the Horsham branch.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading a team of approximately 12 employees across workshop, field service, resident technicians and parts
- Overseeing daily branch operations, including scheduling, workflow and resource allocation
- Managing branch budgets, operational costs, labour utilisation and profitability
- Working closely with sales and product support teams to support customer requirements
- Monitoring WIP, warranty claims, labour recovery and operational KPIs
- Managing employee performance, training, development and recruitment requirements
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers, including those involved in major mining projects




- Identifying opportunities to improve branch performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with a solid mechanical background who has progressed into a leadership position and is confident managing both people and business operations.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Certificate III in an Automotive trade qualification
- Previous experience in a Workshop Manager, Service Manager, Branch Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Experience across diesel, heavy equipment, automotive or a related mechanical industry
- Strong commercial understanding, including budgets, operational costs and profitability
- Experience managing technicians, service operations and multiple departments
- Excellent communication, organisation and customer relationship skills
- A practical, hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving
- Solid computer literacy and experience with service management systems
