Senior Business Analyst | Data & Skills Program

Support a complex Australian Government program as a Senior Business Analyst, leading requirements analysis, traceability, process mapping, stakeholder engagement and delivery support across a multidisciplinary data and skills initiative.

Location: ACT only

Contract Duration: ASAP to 30 June 2027

Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Closing Date: Thursday, 22 October 2026

Essential Tasks

- Elicit, analyse, prioritise and document business, user, functional and technical requirements.
- Develop process maps, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability.
- Support project planning, backlogs, governance, risk management, testing and business acceptance.
- Engage policy, data, research and technical stakeholders to clarify needs and maintain delivery alignment.

Key Criteria

- Robust business analysis experience across complex initiatives, including requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Experience supporting project delivery, governance, testing, implementation and business readiness.




- Working knowledge of APIs, data models, integration, metadata and taxonomies, with Azure DevOps experience.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, with experience in skills, education, training, employment or labour-market environments regarded.
