The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team, based in Wattleup, Western Australia.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, maintaining supplier accounts and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and contributing to process improvements, including the implementation and optimisation of accounts payable automation systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Process supplier invoices, including purchase order matching and payment approvals.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
- Maintain supplier accounts and records within Pronto ERP.
- Reconcile local and international supplier accounts, including foreign currency payments.
- Review new supplier applications and respond to supplier enquiries.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of accounts payable automation processes.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping,



compliance with accounting requirements and adherence to month-end deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies across the accounts payable function.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Experience in Accounts Payable or similar position.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, wholesale or mining-related industries.
- Experience using Pronto ERP and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Sound knowledge of accounts payable processes, general ledger systems and accounting procedures.
- Certificate IV in Accounting or similar qualification (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
