About the role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our busy Plumbing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll play an important part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Working closely with our Plumbing Office Manager, supervisors and builders, you'll help coordinate jobs, manage documentation and ensure everything is processed accurately and on time.
No two days will be quite the same! You'll be juggling different priorities, keeping on top of paperwork and making sure the right information gets to the right people.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Setting up new jobs, processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records in Business Craft.
- Coordinating job call-ups and liaising with builders and supervisors to keep work moving.
- Managing documentation, including plumbing and gas completion certificates.
- Processing plumbers' timesheets, checking job allocations and following up on any discrepancies.
- Coordinating maintenance bookings and providing general administration support to the wider team.
About you
You're someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in getting the details right and doesn't mind a busy day with plenty happening!
You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, following up on outstanding information and working with different people to get things done. Most importantly, you'll bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine team-first approach.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within construction, plumbing or a similar industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using computer systems, with experience in Business Craft being an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with builders, supervisors and colleagues.
- A proactive approach, a willingness to pitch in and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
If you're a reliable, enthusiastic administrator who enjoys variety and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
