If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for working in transport, we have the perfect role for you. We’re looking for an Afternoon shift Operations Assistant to join our team at our Canning Vale Depot.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work alongside operational leaders to coordinate people, vehicles and daily activities, resolve issues and ensure consistent safety, service and performance standards.

The role commences at 4pm and may include some weekend shifts.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Coordinate linehaul drivers, vehicles and afternoon work allocation in regard to outbound requirements and dispatch times
- Assist with scheduling, handovers, customer requirements and disruptions
- Support Operations Managers with afternoon operational requirements
- Provide hands-on support to operational and office teams
- Processing operational documentation including freight documentation and manifests
- Complete all paperwork requirements and changes in TMS
- Utilising the JAIX Transport Management System
- Supporting warehouse and transport operations teams

Experience and qualifications:

- Previous transport or logistics operations experience
- Strong experience coordinating drivers and customers
- Strong Verbal Communication Skills and organisational skills
- High level time management skills.




- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Enthusiasm and a desire to take pride in your work.
