About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and versatile All Rounders to join the Southside Fitness team on a casual basis/permanent basis on Weekends with the possibility of hours during the week.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive in-store experience
2. Assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases
3. Maintaining the store's presentation and visual merchandising
4. Restocking and organizing inventory
5. Handling cash and processing transactions
6. Supporting the team with various administrative and operational task
7. Possibly delivering stock
8. Packing orders.
What we're looking for
- A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Punctuality and Reliabilty
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- A flexible approach to work with a willingness to undertake varied tasks as required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for fitness and wellness, with a genuine interest in supporting members' goals
- Basic computer literacy and experience with point-of-sale systems or reception management software
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive in-store experience
- Assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Maintaining the store's presentation and visual merchandising
- Restocking and organizing inventory
- Handling cash and processing transactions
- Supporting the team with various administrative and operational tasks, professional appearance and commitment to health and safety standards
- Availability to work on a casual basis with flexibility around peak periods and weekends
- Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is advantageous
- Current Open Drivers is essentail
- Forklift ticket is advantageous
