As an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with Omni, you'll kick-start your career in the aviation industry while completing a nationally recognised trade qualification. Working alongside experienced LAME’s and aviation professionals, you'll gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing aircraft that support critical operations across Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn a highly specialised trade while earning an income, developing practical skills, and building a long-term career in aerospace.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll be supported by experienced mentors who will teach you how to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems while developing a strong understanding of aviation safety, quality standards, and industry regulations.

No two days are the same. You'll work in a energetic hangar environment, assist with scheduled maintenance activities, learn how aviation workshops operate, and contribute to keeping aircraft mission-ready and airworthy. The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all Omni employees:

- Be an Australian Citizen

- Be eligible to hold and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance

- Have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.

In addition, this role will require:

- A High School Certificate

- Certificate II in Aeroskills (MEA20418/MEA20418-01)

- Minimum Provisional WA Drivers licence

- Be located in Perth/Jandakot
