Hardchrome Sales was founded in 1964 and has spent six decades building a reputation for exact workmanship and fast turnaround. We’re the largest hard chrome plating and grinding facility for hydraulic rods, shafts, and pins in Western Australia, trusted by many names.
We’re looking for an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Welshpool team. You’ll learn to cut, shape, weld, and fabricate metal, working on components that keep some of WA’s biggest mining and industrial operations running.
You won’t be figuring this out on your own. Through our Elevate Apprenticeship Program, you’ll have a mentor, structured learning through the Elevate Academy, and a community of apprentices across Questas Group going through the same journey.
Your Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced boilermakers on fabrication and repair work
- Learn to read technical drawings and turn them into finished components
- Cut, mark out, and prepare materials for fabrication
- Build your welding skills across a range of applications
- Follow safe work practices and look after your tools and workspace
About You
- Minimum Year 10 High School Certificate
- Interested in building and fixing things with your hands
- Comfortable with maths and measurements
- Careful and precise, because accuracy matters in this trade
- Reliable and ready to learn. No experience is needed, as we’ll teach you the trade
