We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Machinist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to start a hands-on trade career in machining and manufacturing.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn to operate and maintain machine tools, read engineering drawings, manufacture precision components, and develop valuable skills in modern machining practices.
What You'll Be Learning
- CNC machining and machine operation
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Measuring and inspecting components
- Safe use of workshop equipment and tooling
- Basic machine maintenance
- Manufacturing high-quality precision parts
- Quality control and workshop procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in engineering or manufacturing
- Is reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Has good attention to detail
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Can follow instructions and work safely
- Works well as part of a team
- Has completed Year 10 or higher (preferred)
No previous experience is required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important. Please supply school reports with your application.
