About the opportunity

Working under supervision, you will assist tradespeople to install, maintain and upgrade the intricate electrical, instrumentation and electronic circuitry that underpins the facility’s critical assets. You will gain practical experience responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and supporting essential site services.

Tasks include

- Assist with installing, maintaining and upgrading electrical, instrumentation and electronic systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and support planned electrical maintenance.
- Work across essential air, water, steam, fuel and sewage treatment systems.
- Gain exposure to the operation and maintenance of the site’s high-voltage network.
- Learn to use hand tools, power tools and precision instruments safely.
- Complete accurate records and documentation.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively within an established safety framework.
