Following de’sendent’s recent achievement of being named Gourmet Traveller WA Restaurant of the Year 2026, we’re looking to continue refining our offering, supporting our team and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

We’re introducing a new Assistant FOH Manager role, working closely alongside the Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining reservations, guest communications and general administration with the practical side of restaurant operations, including setup, preparation and involvement in dinner service.

The role will help keep things organised behind the scenes, ensuring the details are taken care of and our guests continue to enjoy the thoughtful, personal hospitality de’sendent is known for.

Key responsibilities

- Reservations & guest communications: Managing bookings, emails, phone calls, guest enquiries and pre-arrival communications.
- Administration & organisation: Keeping records up to date, coordinating daily tasks and helping maintain efficient systems and procedures.
- Restaurant operations: Assisting with setup, preparation and dinner service while maintaining our standards of service and presentation.
- Guest experience: Ensuring every interaction is warm, thoughtful and reflective of the personal hospitality de’sendent is known for.
- Management support: Working alongside the Restaurant Manager to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and identify opportunities to improve how we do things.

The person we’re looking for Someone who is organised, personable and takes pride in doing things well. You’re comfortable with everyday administrative tasks, confident communicating with guests and happy to be hands-on when needed.





You have a practical, proactive approach, pay attention to the details and can manage your responsibilities independently while working well as part of a small team.

Fine-dining experience and knowledge of wine or cocktails would be beneficial, but aren’t essential. Attitude, initiative, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for hospitality are what matter most.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
