The Arsonist combines cooking over fire, a standout whiskey bar and intimate dining. We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to be the Venue Manager’s trusted second-in-command.
The role
As a hands-on 2IC, you’ll lead restaurant and bar service, uphold standards and take ownership of each shift. Exceptional customer service and guest experience are non-negotiable.
We take pride in putting our people first and this begins with our team. The suitable candidate must be able to inspire and coach, lead from the front, have the difficult conversations where necessary and be excited about growth culture.
What you bring
- Proven assistant venue management or equivalent leadership experience in premium or high-volume hospitality.
Experience is essential.
- Confident shift leadership, with practical experience in rostering, payment handling/systems and daily operations.
- Exceptional customer service, strong food and beverage knowledge and ownership of the guest experience.
- The ability to brief, coach and support the team so everyone knows what’s expected and can deliver.
- Personal accountability, consistent follow-through and sound judgement under pressure.
- Australian work rights required.
