We are working with an established independent corporate advisory firm looking to appoint an Associate to its Sydney team.

The firm has a strong track record advising listed companies, privately owned businesses and financial sponsors across public and private M&A;, divestments, capital raisings and strategic transactions. With an experienced senior team and strong relationships across the Australian market, the business offers exposure to a broad range of transactions and clients.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded team where you will work directly with senior dealmakers and clients, taking meaningful responsibility across the full transaction lifecycle.

The Opportunity

- Work across a diverse range of public and private M&A; transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates.
- Take an active role in transaction execution, including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, preparation of transaction materials and deal management.
- Work closely with senior advisers, corporate clients, management teams and financial sponsors.




- Gain exposure to complex transactions across a range of industries, with opportunities to contribute from origination through to completion.
- Develop your commercial judgement and advisory capabilities within a collaborative, experienced team.

The Successful Candidate

- Approximately 4–6 years' relevant experience in M&A;, investment banking or corporate advisory.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience executing M&A; transactions, ideally with involvement across multiple stages of the deal lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ambition to take on greater responsibility.
