About the role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our Toowoomba QLD branch. This is a full time position based in Toowoomba QLD 4350, where you will play a pivotal role in driving branch performance, managing teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for translating company strategy into operational excellence whilst maintaining profitability and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of branch operations, including inventory, stock control, and logistics to ensure effective day-to-day functioning

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management

- Oversee customer service standards, ensuring all interactions reflect company values and result in high customer satisfaction

- Manage branch finances, budgets, and cost controls whilst maximising profitability and minimising wastage

- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and relevant legislation

- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones through targeted marketing initiatives

- Liaise with head office and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination across the business

- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement

What we're looking for





- Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar management role within manufacturing, transport, logistics or retail operations

- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff at all levels

- Able to use a range of small powered hand tools and standard workshop equipment safely and effectively

- Excellent customer service orientation with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations

- Proficiency with computer systems and business software; experience with point-of-sale systems and relevant industry software is advantageous

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel in the immediate local areas as required

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels

- Health and Safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace environment
