Aurum Poultry Co. is an Australian elevated poultry producer supplying independent retailers, butchers, restaurants, foodservice businesses and major customers across Australia.

As our Victorian business continues to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to lead the development of our Vietnamese and Asian markets across Victoria.

Reporting into the Commercial team, this role is focused on building a strong customer pipeline, winning new business and developing long-term growth across existing accounts.

You will spend significant time in market, meeting customers, identifying opportunities and building relationships across independent supermarkets and grocers, butchers, restaurants, foodservice operators and other relevant businesses.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities across Victoria’s Vietnamese and Asian food markets
- Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline
- Prospect, visit and convert new customers
- Grow existing accounts through product ranging, category expansion and relationship development
- Identify opportunities across Aurum’s poultry portfolio
- Conduct regular customer and market visits
- Develop strong relationships with business owners, buyers, chefs and operators
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends
- Support product launches, promotional programs and seasonal campaigns
- Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing, Operations and Production to deliver a strong customer experience
- Maintain accurate CRM, customer and chance records
- Provide regular market insights and commercial feedback to support planning and decision-making

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercially driven,



proactive and comfortable developing business in the field.

You will ideally have

- Experience in business development, sales or account management
- Strong new-business development and relationship-building capability
- Experience in food, FMCG, wholesale, grocery, hospitality supply or a related industry
- Confidence working independently and managing a customer territory
- Strong communication, negotiation and follow-through
- Good commercial judgement and sales discipline
- Genuine interest in food and multicultural markets
- Professional Vietnamese language capability, allowing you to confidently communicate with Vietnamese-speaking customers
- Effective English communication skills for internal and broader customer engagement
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
