Love brunch, enjoy cooking as part of a team, and have ideas you’d like to bring to the table? We’d love to meet you.

We’re looking for a cook to join our small, friendly kitchen team at In Good Hands. Full-time hours are available, and the work is all daytime.

You might already have solid café experience, or you might be earlier in your cooking career and ready to build your skills. What matters to us is a good foundation, reliability and a willingness to get involved.

The role

You’ll work alongside our head chef on prep, cooking and serving our brunch menu, keeping the kitchen organised and ready for a busy service. Over time you’ll be trusted to run the menu independently, with full training first.

We want your ideas, too. Whether it’s a cabinet special, a seasonal ingredient or a better way of doing something, we welcome people who care about the food and want to contribute.

We’re looking for someone who





- Has some kitchen experience (café experience is a bonus), valuable knife skills and confidence with the basics
- Takes pride in consistent, well-presented food
- Is curious, creative and keen to keep learning
- Communicates well and keeps things moving during a busy service
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable with early starts
