North Lakes United FC is hiring: Canteen Manager

We’re looking for an organised, friendly person to run our canteen and keep players, families and supporters fed and happy on game days and at club events.

The role covers the full running of the canteen, including:

- Ordering and managing stock, and keeping waste down
- Planning the menu and pricing with the committee
- Rostering and supporting canteen volunteers
- Opening, setting up and closing the canteen on game days and at events
- Handling cash, EFTPOS and the float, and reconciling takings with the Treasurer
- Following food safety and hygiene practices, including storage, temperatures and labelling
- Keeping the canteen, equipment and storage areas clean
- Reporting equipment issues or larger needs to the committee

About you:

- Experience in hospitality, a tuckshop or a canteen, or food service
- Organised and comfortable leading a small team of volunteers
- Confident with cash handling and basic stock control
- Food safety training, or willingness to complete it
- A Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one

Pay: $27.05 – $37.39 per hour
